PETITION FOR WRIT OF MANDAMUS DENIED

On December 28, 2000, relator, Christopher Aaron Oujesky ("Oujesky"), filed a petition for writ of mandamus. Oujesky's petition seeks relief from an error in the calculation of his jail time credit. Section 501.0081 of the Texas Government Code sets forth the proper procedure to be followed in resolving complaints regarding time-served credit. See Tex. Govt. Code Ann. 501.0081 (Vernon Supp. 2000). The inmate's grievance form attached to relator's petition sets forth the proper procedure for appealing a response to a grievance, and our record does not contain any indication that this procedure has been properly followed. Therefore, the petition is DENIED without prejudice to Oujesky's pursuit of relief in the proper forum. Tex. R. App. P. 52.8(a).
