YUANYUAN YANG, Appellee On Appeal from the 268th District Court Fort Bend County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 16-DCV-235702 SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM OPINION ON REMITTITUR On June 27, 2023, we suggested a remittitur of $50,000 in damages awarded to appellee Yuanyuan Yang in the trial court’s judgment. Tex. R. App. P. 46.3. We stated that if appellee timely filed the remittitur with the clerk of this court, we would render judgment modifying the trial court’s judgment to reflect damages awarded to Yang of $1,800,000 and affirming the trial court’s judgment as modified. Appellee Yuanyuan Yang timely filed the remittitur. In accordance with the original memorandum opinion and appellee’s timely filed remittitur, we vacate our judgment of July 27, 2023, and render judgment modifying the trial court’s judgment (1) to reflect the $50,000 remittitur; and (2) to delete the trial court’s award of joint and several liability as it pertains to Elina Qin.
