Petition for Writ of Mandamus Denied and Memorandum Opinion filed July 13, 2017. In The Fourteenth Court of Appeals NO. 14-17-00501-CV IN RE DAVID W. SHOWALTER, Relator ORIGINAL PROCEEDING WRIT OF MANDAMUS County Civil Court at Law No. 2 Harris County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 1091946 MEMORANDUM OPINION On June 27, 2017, relator David W. Showalter filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this court. See Tex. Gov’t Code Ann. § 22.221 (West 2004); see also Tex. R. App. P. 52. In the petition, relator asks this court to compel the Honorable Theresa Chang, presiding judge of County Civil Court at Law No. 2 of Harris County, to set aside her May 16, 2017 order granting the motion to compel discovery filed by real parties in interest. Relator has not established that he is entitled to mandamus relief. Accordingly, we deny relator’s petition for writ of mandamus. PER CURIAM Panel consists of Chief Justice Frost and Justices Jamison and Busby. 2
