Petition for Writ of Mandamus Dismissed and Memorandum Opinion filed August 10, 2017. In The Fourteenth Court of Appeals NO. 14-17-00403-CV IN RE GULF COAST ROD, REEL, AND GUN CLUB, Relator ORIGINAL PROCEEDING WRIT OF MANDAMUS County Court at Law No. 2 Galveston County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. CV-0076026 MEMORANDUM OPINION On May 23, 2017, relator Gulf Coast Rod, Reel, and Gun Club filed a petition for writ of mandamus in this court. See Tex. Gov’t Code Ann. § 22.221 (West 2004); see also Tex. R. App. P. 52. In the petition, relator asks this court to compel the Honorable Barbara E. Roberts, presiding judge of the County Court at Law No. 2, Galveston County, to vacate her April 19, 2017 Order granting Galveston County’s Motion for Summary Judgment. On August 3, 2017, relator filed an agreed motion to lift the abatement and dismiss its petition for writ of mandamus because the issues presented by the petition have been resolved or otherwise are moot. We conclude that relator’s motion should be granted. We therefore GRANT the motion, lift the abatement, and dismiss relator’s petition for writ of mandamus. PER CURIAM Panel consists of Chief Justice Frost and Justices Christopher and Brown. 2
