Motion Denied; Appeal Dismissed and Memorandum Opinion filed June 21, 2016. In The Fourteenth Court of Appeals NO. 14-14-00665-CV DOV AVNI KAMINETZKY, Appellant V. HARRIS COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT, Appellee On Appeal from the 234th District Court Harris County, Texas Trial Court Cause No. 2013-12988 MEMORANDUM OPINION This is an appeal from a judgment signed April 30, 2014. The clerk’s record was filed October 9, 2014. Appellant filed supplemental clerk’s records on December 18, 2015, February 8, 2016, and March 17, 2016. The reporter’s record was filed on December 9, 2014. On April 14, 2016, this court issued an order stating that unless appellant submitted a brief on or before May 4, 2016, the court would dismiss the appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(b). Appellant did not file a brief or a motion for extension of time to file a brief. On May 19, 2016, appellant filed a motion to dismiss the appeal for lack of jurisdiction. His motion fails to establish that this court lacks jurisdiction. Accordingly, we DENY appellant’s motion to dismiss for lack of jurisdiction and we DISMISS the appeal on our own motion for want of prosecution. PER CURIAM Panel consists Justices Boyce, Christopher, and Jamison. 2
