Opinion issued April 12, 2022 In The Court of Appeals For The First District of Texas ———————————— NO. 01-22-00217-CV ——————————— IN RE SERGE GREGOIRE, Relator Original Proceeding on Petition for Writ of Mandamus MEMORANDUM OPINION Relator, Serge Gregoire, filed a petition for a writ of mandamus related to his “Petition to Modify the Parent-Child Relationship” filed in the trial court. In the mandamus petition, relator asserts that the trial court abused its discretion by: (1) dismissing his petition to modify for want of prosecution, (2) denying his motion to reinstate, and (3) failing to hold an oral hearing regarding his motion to reinstate.1 We deny relator’s petition for writ of mandamus. See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.8(a). Any pending motions are dismissed as moot. PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Kelly, Goodman, and Guerra. 1 The underlying case is Martine Bracke v. Serge Gregoire, Cause No. 2015-10728, in the 308th District Court of Harris County, Texas, the Honorable Gloria Lopez presiding. 2
