Opinion issued March 24, 2022 In The Court of Appeals For The First District of Texas ———————————— NO. 01-22-00098-CV ——————————— CINDY SIEGEL, AS CHAIR OF THE HARRIS COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY, AND THE HARRIS COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY, Appellants V. JULIE A. KETTERMAN, Appellee On Appeal from the 190th District Court Harris County, Texas Trial Court Case No. 2022-01417 MEMORANDUM OPINION Appellants, Cindy Siegel, as Chair of the Harris County Republican Party, and the Harris County Republican Party, filed a notice of direct appeal to the Texas Supreme Court. The Harris County District Clerk mistakenly assigned the appeal to this Court. Because the notice of appeal stated that it was a direct appeal to the Texas Supreme Court, we issued a notice to appellants that, unless they filed a response establishing our jurisdiction over this appeal, we would dismiss the appeal. No response was filed. The Harris County District Clerk and the Clerk of the Texas Supreme Court were advised of the filing, and the appeal was directed to the Texas Supreme Court and is now pending in that Court. Accordingly, we dismiss this appeal. See TEX. R. APP. P. 42.3; 43.2(f). PER CURIAM Panel consists of Justices Hightower, Countiss, and Guerra. 2
