Opinion issued February 8, 2022 In The Court of Appeals For The First District of Texas ———————————— NO. 01-21-00682-CV ——————————— IN RE SAMUEL ROY JACKSON, Relator Original Proceeding on Petition for Writ of Mandamus MEMORANDUM OPINION Relator, Samuel Roy Jackson, has filed a petition for writ of mandamus requesting that our Court compel the district court clerk to forward relator’s notice of appeal to the appropriate court of appeals.1 Shortly after the petition was filed, the district court clerk forwarded the notice of appeal and the appeal was assigned to our Court as appellate cause number 01-22-00040-CR.
