Opinion issued October 26, 2021 In The Court of Appeals For The First District of Texas ———————————— NO. 01-21-00553-CV ——————————— IN RE LISA MARIE SEARCY, Relator Original Proceeding on Petition for Writ of Mandamus MEMORANDUM OPINION Relator, Lisa Marie Searcy, incarcerated and proceeding pro se, has filed a petition for a writ of mandamus asserting that she has “been denied due process [and] equal protection” because the trial court failed to provide her with court-appointed counsel and failed to give her a “full adversary hearing” before terminating her parental rights to her minor children.1 Relator’s petition for writ of mandamus 1 Relator’s filing with this Court is titled: “Petition for Writ of Habeas Corpus.” However, based on the relief requested by relator, we construe the filing as a petition requests that this Court “return the children to [her] custody so they can move forward as a family and recover from this.” We deny relator’s petition for writ of mandamus.2 See TEX. R. APP. P. 52.3 (listing required contents of mandamus petition), 52.7 (relator required to file record with mandamus petition), 52.8; see also Walker v. Packer, 827 S.W.2d 833, 837 (Tex. 1992) (relator must provide mandamus record sufficient to establish right to mandamus relief). All pending motions are dismissed as moot. PER CURIAM Panel consists of Chief Justice Radack and Justices Rivas-Molloy and Guerra. for writ of mandamus pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 52. See generally TEX. R. APP. P. 52. 2 The underlying case is In the Interest of N.S.C. and N.S., Children, Cause No. 19-CP-0155, in the 306th District Court of Galveston County, Texas, the Honorable Anne B. Darring presiding. 2
