Opinion issued July 10, 2018 In The Court of Appeals For The First District of Texas ———————————— NO. 01-18-00494-CV ——————————— IN RE GEORGE BISHOP, Relator Original Proceeding on Petition for Writ of Mandamus MEMORANDUM OPINION Relator, George Bishop, has filed a petition for a writ of mandamus, challenging the trial court’s orders that denied his “Supplement to Amended Motion for New Trial” and “Second Supplement to Amended Motion for New Trial.”1 1 The underlying case is Commission for Lawyer Discipline v. George M. Bishop, III (201607074), Cause No. 36282, in the 21st District Court of Washington County, Texas, the Honorable Brenda Kennedy presiding. Relator also requests a stay of the final judgment in the underlying trial court proceeding pending a ruling on his petition.
