By postcard dated July 20, 2017, we notified appellant his brief was overdue and directed him to file a brief and an extension motion within ten days. We cautioned appellant that the failure to file his brief by the time specified would result in the dismissal of this appeal without further notice. To date, appellant has not filed a brief, filed an extension motion or otherwise corresponded with the Court regarding the status of this appeal. Accordingly, we dismiss this appeal. Tex. R.
