MEMORANDUM OPINION This appeal is before the Court on Appellant’s unopposed motion to consolidate cause numbers 08-22-00140-CR and 08-22-00138-CR. We grant Appellant’s motion to consolidate and dismiss this appeal. On June 24, 2022, Appellant timely filed notice of appeal in trial-court cause number 19-0962-K277, which was docketed under cause number 08-22-00138-CR. Appellant thereafter also timely filed notice of appeal in trial-court cause number 19-0974-K277, which was docketed in under cause number 08-22-00140-CR.1 On September 19, 2022, Appellant filed a motion to consolidate the two appeals, asserting that the judgments complained of therein resulted from a single trial. The State does not oppose the consolidation motion. 1 Both causes were transferred to this Court from the Third Court of Appeals in Austin. After due consideration, we grant Appellant’s consolidation motion. Accordingly, we dismiss this appeal and consolidate the two appeals. The Clerk of this Court is directed to place all documents and records filed in appellate cause number 08-22-00140-CR into the record for appellate cause number 08-22-00138-CR and close 08-22-00140-CR. The consolidated appeal shall proceed under appellate cause number 08-22-00138-CR. Appellate cause number 08-22-00140-CR is hereby dismissed. See TEX.R.APP.P. 43.2(f); BBG Group, L.L.C. v. MBI Global, L.L.C., No. 14-12-00247-CV, 2012 WL 3241557, at *1 (Tex.App.—Houston [14th Dist.] Aug. 9, 2012, no pet.)(per curiam)(mem. op.)(granting appellants’ joint motion to consolidate second appeal with first and dismissing second appeal). Appellate deadlines will run from date either the clerk’s record or the reporter’s record was filed in appellate cause number 08-22-00138-CR, whichever occurred later. See TEX.R.APP P. 38.6 (providing appellate brief in a criminal case must be filed within 30 days after the later of the date the clerk’s or the reporter’s record was filed).
