On January 18, 2007, Defendant filed a letter with the court advising the court it was proposing a reduced real market value for the subject property, although the reduced real market value would not reduce the assessed value. (See Def s Ltr, Jan 18, 2007.) On February 12, 2007, the court issued an Order Requiring Plaintiffs to Respond to Defendant s Proposal (Order). The Order sets forth the court s contacts with Plaintiffs and its attempts to have Plaintiffs file a written response to Defendant s proposed reduction. The Order required Plaintiffs to file a written response by February 26, 2007. The Order cautioned Plaintiffs that, if they did not file their written response by February 26, 2007, their case [would] be dismissed for lack of prosecution.
