On June 14, 2004, the magistrate issued a decision recommending judgment for plaintiff in the total amount $1,250, which includes the filing fee paid by plaintiff. {¶2} Civ.R. 53 provides: A party may file written objections to the magistrate s decision within 14 days of the filing of the decision ***. On July 6, 2004, plaintiff filed a motion for an extension of time until July 6, 2004, to file objections to the magistrate s decision. Plaintiff, however, did not file his proposed objections. Consequently, plaintiff s motion is DENIED as moot. {¶3} Upon review of the record and the magistrate s decision, the court determines that there is no error of law or other defect on the face of the magistrate s decision. Therefore, the court adopts the magistrate s decision and recommendation as its own including the findings of fact and conclusions of law contained therein. Judgment is rendered in favor of plaintiff in the total amount of $1,250, which includes the filing fee paid by plaintiff. Court costs are assessed against defendant. The clerk shall serve upon all parties notice of this judgment and its date of entry upon the journal. {¶4} On another matter, on July 6, 2004, plaintiff notified the court that he is no longer represented by counsel and that he intends to proceed pro se in this matter.
