Sham Jayant Bhat was admitted to practice by this Court in 1986 and lists a business address in Burtonsville, Maryland with the Office of Court Administration. Bhat now seeks leave to resign from the New York bar for nondisciplinary reasons (see Rules for Attorney Disciplinary Matters [22 NYCRR] § 1240.22 [a])[FN1]. Upon reading Bhat's affidavit sworn to April 12, 2018 and filed April 16, 2018, and upon reading the May 4, 2018
