(Ind. No. 16-00723)
[*1]The People of the State of New York, respondent,
v
Marcellous D. Williams, appellant.
Gary E. Eisenberg, New City, NY, for appellant.
David M. Hoovler, District Attorney, Goshen, NY (Andrew R. Kass of counsel; Erin Heiferman on the brief), for respondent.
DECISION & ORDER
Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Orange County (Craig Stephen Brown, J.), rendered May 12, 2017, convicting him of robbery in the first degree, upon his plea of guilty, and imposing sentence.
ORDERED that the judgment is affirmed.
The defendant's valid waiver of the right to appeal precludes appellate review of his contention that the County Court improvidently exercised its discretion in denying him youthful offender treatment (see People v Pacherille, 25 NY3d 1021, 1024; People v Glover, 173 AD3d 1201).
SCHEINKMAN, P.J., RIVERA, ROMAN and CHRISTOPHER, JJ., concur.
