[*1]The People of the State of New York, respondent,

v

Vincent Sullivan, appellant. (S.C.I. Nos. 9181/15, 8635/16)

Paul Skip Laisure, New York, NY (Lynn W. L. Fahey of counsel), for appellant.

Eric Gonzalez, District Attorney, Brooklyn, NY (Leonard Joblove and Diane R. Eisner of counsel; Ruby D. Andrade on the memorandum), for respondent.

DECISION & ORDER

Appeals by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from two sentences of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Frederick Arriaga, J.), both imposed November 18, 2016, upon his pleas of guilty, on the ground that the sentences were excessive.

ORDERED that the sentences are affirmed.

The record demonstrates that the defendant knowingly, voluntarily, and intelligently waived his right to appeal (see People v Sanders, 25 NY3d 337, 339-342; People v Lopez, 6 NY3d 248, 256-257; cf. People v Brown, 122 AD3d 133, 145-146). The defendant's valid waivers of his right to appeal precludes review of his contention that the sentences imposed were excessive (see People v Lopez, 6 NY3d at 255-256).

BALKIN, J.P., SGROI, BARROS and CHRISTOPHER, JJ., concur.
