[*1]The People of the State of New York, respondent,

v

James Darrow, appellant.

Laurette D. Mulry, Riverhead, NY (Alfred J. Cicale of counsel), for appellant.

Timothy D. Sini, District Attorney, Riverhead, NY (Timothy P. Finnerty of counsel), for respondent.

DECISION & ORDER

Appeal by the defendant, as limited by his motion, from a sentence of the County Court, Suffolk County (John J. Toomey, Jr., J.), imposed August 1, 2016, on the ground that the sentence was excessive.

ORDERED that the sentence is affirmed.

The defendant's valid waiver of his right to appeal precludes review of his contention that the sentence imposed was excessive (see People v Bryant, 28 NY3d 1094, 1096; People v Sanders, 25 NY3d 337, 341-342; People v Lopez, 6 NY3d 248, 257).

SCHEINKMAN, P.J., MASTRO, ROMAN, LASALLE and CHRISTOPHER, JJ., concur.
