SHAWN STRADER,

v.

DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS,

Respondent.

Submitted November 14, 2006 - Decided December 1, 2006

Before Judges Skillman and Holston, Jr.

On appeal from New Jersey Department of Corrections.

Shawn Strader, appellant, pro se.

Stuart Rabner, Attorney General, attorney for respondent (Patrick DeAlmeida, Assistant Attorney General, of counsel; Kimberly A. Sked, Deputy Attorney General, on the brief).

PER CURIAM

Appellant Shawn Strader, an inmate at South Woods State Prison, appeals from a final decision of respondent Department of Corrections that found him guilty of prohibited act *.803/*.153, attempting to steal, and imposed as sanctions for this disciplinary infraction ten days detention, ninety days administrative segregation (to be suspended sixty days), sixty days loss of commutation time, and a change of work assignment. The arguments appellant presents in support of this appeal are clearly without merit and do not warrant extended discussion. R. 2:11-3(e)(1)(E).

We only note that the reports of Storekeeper Williams and Sergeant Dice, upon which the hearing officer relied in finding appellant guilty, provide the required substantial evidence that appellant committed the disciplinary infraction. See Jacobs v. Stephens, 139 N.J. 212, 222-23 (1995). Sergeant Dice's report indicates that appellant admitted he placed his cellmate's number on the extra commissary bag so that the bag would be sent to the cellmate without payment for the items contained in the bag.

Affirmed.
