STATE OF MICHIGAN
COURT OF APPEALS
PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN,
UNPUBLISHED
June 17, 2004
Plaintiff-Appellee,
v
No. 245708
Berrien Circuit Court
LC No. 99-404858-FH
CHRISTOPHER LAMAR ANDERSON,
Defendant-Appellant.
Before: White, P.J., and Markey and Owens, JJ.
WHITE, P.J. (concurring).
While I concur in the affirmance, I do not join in the majority’s characterization of the
police detention of defendant’s vehicle as a brief and reasonable investigatory stop. I conclude,
however, that any error in admission of the fruits of this particular search was harmless, given
that the other evidence of defendant’s participation and complicity in the charged offenses was
overwhelming.
In other respects, I agree with the majority’s disposition.
/s/ Helene N. White
