Respondent-appellant appeals as of right from a juvenile court order terminating his parental rights to his child, Jamie James Calhoun, Jr., under MCL 712A.19b(3)(c)(i), (g) and (j); MSA 27.3178(598.19b)(3)(c)(i), (g) and (j).1 We affirm. Respondent-appellant did not seek judicial review of the referee’s recommendation to terminate parental rights in accordance with MCR 5.991. In any event, we are not persuaded that respondent­ appellant has shown clear error in the determination that at least one statutory ground for termination, specifically § 19b(3)(g), was established by clear and convincing evidence. MCR 5.974(I); In re Miller, 433 Mich 331, 337; 445 NW2d 161 (1989). Further, respondent-appellant failed to show that termination of his parental rights was clearly not in the child’s best interests. MCL 712A.19b(5); MSA 27.3178(598.19b)(5); In re Hall-Smith, 222 Mich App 470, 472-473; 464 NW2d 156 (1997). -1­ Thus, we uphold the judge’s entry of the order terminating respondent-appellant’s parental rights based on the referee’s recommendation.
