COURT OF APPEALS
PEOPLE OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN,
UNPUBLISHED
June 20, 1997
Plaintiff-Appellee,
v
No. 196575
Crawford Circuit Court
LC No. 96-1431 FH
GINGER MARGARET BECK,
Defendant-Appellant.
Before: Gage, P.J., and Reilly and Hoekstra, JJ.
MEMORANDUM.
Where the trial court accurately recognized that defendant had embezzled her daughter’s entire
trust fund, spending all the money on herself, in direct violation of the probate court order granting
defendant trusteeship over the account and requiring probate court approval prior to any disbursements,
the sentence of four to ten years imprisonment is not disproportionate to the offense or the offender.
People v Houston, 448 Mich 312; 532 NW2d 508 (1995).
Affirmed.
/s/ Hilda R. Gage
/s/ Maureen Pulte Reilly
/s/ Joel P. Hoekstra
