STATE OF MICHIGAN
COURT OF APPEALS
EDITH M. DERUSHA,
UNPUBLISHED
Plaintiff-Appellant,
v
No. 177829
LC No. 93-326236-CZ
ROLLINS HUDIG HALL OF
MICHIGAN, INC., and JAMES W. WEBB,
Defendant-Appellees.
Before: Corrigan, P.J., and MacKenzie and P.J. Clulo,* JJ.
CORRIGAN, P.J. (concurring).
I concur principally because plaintiff did not show that Joseph Aubin was equally or less well
qualified than she was for the position she sought. Plaintiff’s allegations of James Webb’s misbehavior
during the job interview are extremely troubling. If true, Webb’s conduct was highly offensive and
inappropriate. Nonetheless, on this record, plaintiff did not establish a prima facie claim. Accordingly, I
concur in the opinion.
/s/ Maura D. Corrigan
* Circuit judge, sitting on the Court of Appeals by assignment.
