IN THE COURT OF APPEALS OF IOWA No. 9-489 / 08-1687 Filed July 22, 2009 ROMECH and ZURICH INSURANCE, Petitioners-Appellants, vs. KELLI JAMES, Respondent-Appellee. ________________________________________________________________ Appeal from the Iowa District Court for Polk County, Richard G. Blane II, Judge. The employer and its insurer appeal from the district court’s ruling on judicial review affirming the workers’ compensation commissioner’s decision. AFFIRMED. Dorothy Kelley, Des Moines, for appellant. Jacob Peters, Council Bluffs, for appellee. Considered by Vaitheswaran, P.J., and Potterfield and Doyle, JJ. 2 DOYLE, J. RoMech (employer) and Zurich Insurance (insurance carrier) appeal from an adverse ruling on their petition for judicial review of final agency action of the Iowa Workers’ Compensation Commissioner. Appellants challenge the agency’s determinations that (1) Kelli James sustained a work-related injury to her right shoulder on April 14, 2005; (2) James gave proper notice of her April 19, 2005 injury; (3) the April 19, 2005 injury arose out of and in the course of James’s employment; and (4) James was entitled to a running award of healing period benefits. We have reviewed the thorough and well-reasoned decision of the district court and conclude the district court’s ruling should be affirmed without opinion. See Iowa R. App. P. 6.24(1). AFFIRMED.
