IN THE COURT OF APPEALS OF IOWA No. 9-084 / 07-1279 Filed April 22, 2009 CARI TURNER, Plaintiff-Appellant, vs. ROBERT EBY, Defendant-Appellee. ________________________________________________________________ Appeal from the Iowa District Court for Pottawattamie County, Timothy O’Grady, G.C. Abel, Charles Smith, and Greg W. Steensland, Judges. Plaintiff successfully appealed a jury verdict for the defendant, and now appeals several rulings following the appeal. AFFIRMED. Don Peterson, Council Bluffs, for appellant. Lyle Ditmars, Council Bluffs, for appellee. Considered by Vogel, P.J., and Vaitheswaran and Eisenhauer, JJ. 2 VOGEL, P.J. Plaintiff Cari Turner appeals from several rulings of the district court which were entered following Plaintiff’s successful appeal from a jury verdict for the defendant, Robert Eby. See Turner v. Eby, No. 04-0930 (Iowa Ct. App. January 19, 2006). On December 5, 2006, the day scheduled for retrial, the parties reached a settlement, which was dictated into the record and the jury was dismissed. After a series of motions and subsequent adverse rulings, the plaintiff appeals. We have reviewed the record on appeal, the various motions, the district court’s findings, and attendant rulings. Finding no errors or abuse of discretion, we affirm pursuant to Iowa Rules of Court 21.29 (1)(a) and (d). AFFIRMED.
