IN THE COURT OF APPEALS OF IOWA No. 8-887 / 08-0600 Filed November 13, 2008 ELIZABETH A. SYLVESTER, Plaintiff-Appellant, vs. MILLS COUNTY, IOWA, a Governmental Subdivision, OFFICE OF MILLS COUNTY AUDITOR and CAROL ROBERTSON, both individually and in her official capacity, Defendants-Appellees. ________________________________________________________________ Appeal from the Iowa District Court for Mills County, J.C. Irvin, Judge. Plaintiff appeals from district court’s ruling of summary judgment in favor of defendants. AFFIRMED. Christopher P. Welsh of Welsh & Welsh, P.C., L.L.O., Omaha, Nebraska, for appellant. Kristopher K. Madsen and Robert M. Livingston of Stuart Tinley Law Firm L.L.P., Council Bluffs, for appellees. Considered by Vogel, P.J., and Mahan and Miller, JJ. 2 PER CURIAM Plaintiff, Elizabeth Sylvester, appeals from the district court’s ruling of summary judgment in favor of defendants Mills County, the Office of Mills County Auditor, and Carol Robertson. Sylvester’s claims arise from an e-mail addressed to Carol Robertson that plaintiff read and found offensive. She asserts the district court erred in dismissing her claims for false light invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and libel per se. After a careful review of the record, we conclude the district court’s decision should be affirmed without opinion pursuant to Iowa Rule of Appellate Procedure 6.24(1) and (4). AFFIRMED.
