UNPUBLISHED UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE FOURTH CIRCUIT No. 23-1207 IBRAHIM OUDEH; TERESA SLOAN-OUDEH, Plaintiffs - Appellants, v. GOSHEN MEDICAL CENTER, INC., Defendant - Appellee, and STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA; UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Third Party Defendants - Appellees. Appeal from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, at Raleigh. James C. Dever III, District Judge. (5:22-cv-00193-D) Submitted: September 14, 2023 Decided: September 18, 2023 Before WILKINSON, GREGORY, and RICHARDSON, Circuit Judges. Affirmed by unpublished per curiam opinion. ON BRIEF: R. Jonathan Charleston, Jose A. Coker, THE CHARLESTON GROUP, Fayetteville, North Carolina, for Appellants. George J. Oliver, Stephen W. Petersen, Jeffrey R. Whitley, FOX ROTHSCHILD LLP, Raleigh, North Carolina; Michael F. Easley, Jr., United States Attorney, Neal Fowler, Assistant United States Attorney, OFFICE OF THE UNITED STATES ATTORNEY, Raleigh, North Carolina; Joshua H. Stein, North Carolina Attorney General, Lareena J. Phillips, Special Assistant United States Attorney and Special Deputy Attorney General, NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE, Raleigh, North Carolina, for Appellees. Unpublished opinions are not binding precedent in this circuit. 2 PER CURIAM: Ibrahim Oudeh and Teresa Sloan-Oudeh appeal the district court’s order granting Defendant’s motion to dismiss their civil action. We have reviewed the record and find no reversible error in the court’s determination that the action was barred by the doctrine of collateral estoppel. Accordingly, we affirm the district court’s order. Oudeh v. Goshen Med. Ctr., Inc., No. 5:22-cv-00193-D (E.D.N.C. Dec. 30, 2022). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before this court and argument would not aid the decisional process. AFFIRMED 3
