UNPUBLISHED UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE FOURTH CIRCUIT No. 22-1309 In re: SAMUEL EUGENE HOLLOMAN, Petitioner. On Petition for Writ of Mandamus and Prohibition. (1:15-cr-00246-WO-1) Submitted: May 24, 2022 Decided: May 27, 2022 Before NIEMEYER, KING, and RICHARDSON, Circuit Judges. Petition denied by unpublished per curiam opinion. Samuel Eugene Holloman, Petitioner Pro Se. Unpublished opinions are not binding precedent in this circuit. PER CURIAM: Samuel Holloman filed a petition for a writ of mandamus and prohibition alleging that the district court has unduly delayed acting on his motion for compassionate release. He seeks an order from this court directing the district court to act. Our review of the district court’s docket reveals that, on April 12, 2022, the district court denied Holloman’s motion. Accordingly, because the district court has recently decided Holloman’s motion for compassionate release, we deny the petition as moot. We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before this court and argument would not aid the decisional process. PETITION DENIED 2
