UNPUBLISHED UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE FOURTH CIRCUIT No. 21-6198 SHANNON MAURICE SMITH, JR., Plaintiff - Appellant, v. DIRECTOR RANDY DEMORY, Defendant - Appellee, and CAPTAIN JACUMIN; MS. SCHULLER; CAPTAIN PHYALL; BERKELEY COUNTY, Defendants. Appeal from the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, at Beaufort. Henry M. Herlong, Jr., Senior District Judge. (9:19-cv-01771-HMH) Submitted: June 30, 2022 Decided: July 12, 2022 Before KING and QUATTLEBAUM, Circuit Judges, and TRAXLER, Senior Circuit Judge. Affirmed by unpublished per curiam opinion. Shannon Maurice Smith, Jr., Appellant Pro Se. Robin Lilley Jackson, SENN LEGAL, LLC, Charleston, South Carolina, for Appellee. Unpublished opinions are not binding precedent in this circuit. 2 PER CURIAM: Shannon Maurice Smith, Jr., appeals the district court’s order accepting in part the recommendation of the magistrate judge and denying relief on Smith’s 42 U.S.C. § 1983 complaint. We have reviewed the record and find no reversible error. Accordingly, we affirm the district court’s order. Smith v. Demory, No. 9:19-cv-01771-HMH (D.S.C. Jan. 22, 2021). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before this court and argument would not aid the decisional process. AFFIRMED 3
