UNPUBLISHED UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEALS FOR THE FOURTH CIRCUIT No. 20-1235 In re: DERRICK SALLIS, Petitioner. On Petition for Writ of Mandamus. (7:19-cv-00320-TMC) Submitted: May 19, 2020 Decided: May 22, 2020 Before NIEMEYER, HARRIS, and RICHARDSON, Circuit Judges. Petition denied by unpublished per curiam opinion. Derrick Sallis, Petitioner Pro Se. Unpublished opinions are not binding precedent in this circuit. PER CURIAM: Derrick Sallis petitions for a writ of mandamus, seeking an order directing the district court to enter default judgment in a civil action brought by Sallis. Our review of the district court’s docket reveals that the district court dismissed Sallis’ civil action on March 2, 2020. Accordingly, because the district court has recently decided Sallis’ case, we deny the mandamus petition as moot. We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before this court and argument would not aid the decisional process. PETITION DENIED 2
