Whitfield seeks to appeal the district court s order dismissing in part Whitfield s 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (2006) complaint, and granting him leave to amend. This court may 28 exercise jurisdiction only over final orders, U.S.C. § 1291 (2006), and certain interlocutory and collateral orders, 28 U.S.C. § 1292 (2006); Fed. R. Civ. P. 54(b); Cohen Beneficial Indus. Loan Corp., 337 U.S. 541, 545-46 (1949). v. The order Whitfield seeks to appeal is neither a final order nor an appealable interlocutory or collateral order. dismiss the appeal for lack of jurisdiction. Accordingly, we We also deny Whitfield s motions to appoint counsel, his motion to amend the complaint to add a party, his motion for a subpoena, and his motion for injunctive relief.
