Annotate this Case
U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit - 4 F.3d 984 (4th Cir. 1993)

Submitted: August 16, 1993. Decided: September 1, 1993

Appeal from the United States District Court for the Western District of Virginia, at Roanoke. Samuel G. Wilson, District Judge. (CA-92-337-R)

Ronnie Ray Atkins, Appellant Pro Se.

Hazel Elizabeth Shaffer, Assistant Attorney General, Richmond, Virginia, for Appellee.

W.D. Va.

DISMISSED.

Before PHILLIPS, HAMILTON, and WILLIAMS, Circuit Judges.

PER CURIAM:

OPINION

Ronnie Ray Atkins seeks to appeal the district court's order refusing habeas corpus relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254 (1988). Our review of the record and the district court's opinion discloses that this appeal is without merit. Accordingly, we deny a certificate of probable cause to appeal and dismiss the appeal on the reasoning of the district court. Atkins v. Williams, No. CA-92-337-R (W.D. Va. Mar. 11, 1993). We dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the Court and argument would not aid the decisional process.

DISMISSED
