(2) This Court does not have jurisdiction to hear appeals directly from either the Court of Common Pleas or the Justice of the Peace Courts.1 As such, this appeal manifestly fails to invoke the jurisdiction of this Court. Moreover, we conclude, in the exercise of our discretion, that the giving of notice would serve no meaningful purpose and that any response would be of no avail.2 NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, pursuant to Supreme Court Rule 29(c), that the within appeal is DISMISSED.
