JOHNSON FOR A WRIT OF MANDAMUS. § § § § No. 180, 2001 Submitted: May 14, 2001 Decided: May 30, 2001 Before VEASEY, Chief Justice, WALSH and STEELE, Justices. ORDER This 30th day of May 2001, it appears to the Court that on April 24, 2001, Michael D. Johnson filed a petition for a writ of mandamus seeking to compel the Superior Court to modify his Level IV sentence.1 Johnson had asked for similar relief in a petition for writ of habeas corpus filed in the Superior Court on April 17, 2001. On April 25, 2001, the Superior Court held a hearing on Johnson s habeas corpus petition and reduced Johnson s sentence.2 NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED that Johnson s petition for a writ of mandamus is DISMISSED as moot.
