Filed 10/28/03 CERTIFIED FOR PUBLICATION IN THE COURT OF APPEAL OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA SECOND APPELLATE DISTRICT DIVISION ONE BENJAMIN KADISH, a Minor, etc., et al., Plaintiffs and Appellants, B159740 (Los Angeles County Super. Ct. No. BC249545) v. ORDER MODIFYING OPINION JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTERS OF GREATER LOS ANGELES et al., [NO CHANGE IN JUDGMENT] Defendants and Respondents. THE COURT: It is ordered that the opinion filed herein on October 10, 2003, be modified as follows: On page 15, the text of footnote 2 is replaced in its entirety with the following: 2 The Kadishes cause of action for breach of contract alleges that the JCC promised, but failed to provide, a safe and secure environment. We understand safe and secure to mean that the JCC would operate Camp Valley Chai in a reasonably safe and secure manner, not that the JCC could prevent the armed assault by the would-be murderer here. There is no change in the judgment. CERTIFIED FOR PUBLICATION. ________________________________________________________________________ SPENCER, P. J. ORTEGA, J. MALLANO, J.
