46.37.650 Air bags -- Installation of previously deployed -- Penalty.
RCW 46.37.650 Air bags — Installation of previously deployed — Penalty.
(1) A person is guilty of a gross misdemeanor if he or she knew or reasonably should have known that an air bag he or she installs or reinstalls in a vehicle for compensation, or distributes as an auto part, is a previously deployed air bag that is part of an inflatable restraint system.
(2) A person found guilty under subsection (1) of this section shall be punished by a fine of not more than five thousand dollars or by confinement in the county jail for up to three hundred sixty-four days, or both.
