RCW 70.47A.080 Health insurance partnership account.

The health insurance partnership account is hereby established in the custody of the state treasurer. Any nongeneral fund--state funds collected for the health insurance partnership shall be deposited in the health insurance partnership account. Moneys in the account shall be used exclusively for the purposes of administering the health insurance partnership, including payments to insurance carriers on behalf of health insurance partnership enrollees. Only the administrator of the health care authority or his or her designee may authorize expenditures from the account. The account is subject to allotment procedures under chapter 43.88 RCW, but an appropriation is not required for expenditures.
