Title 38.2 - Insurance
§ 38.2-616. Service of process on insurance-support organizations
For the purpose of this chapter, an insurance-support organization transacting business outside this Commonwealth that has an effect on a person residing in this Commonwealth and which is alleged to violate this chapter shall be deemed to have appointed the clerk of the Commission to accept service of process on its behalf. Service on the clerk shall be made in accordance with § 12.1-19.1.
