2006 Code of Virginia § 66-4 - State Board of Juvenile Justice

66-4. State Board of Juvenile Justice.

There shall be a State Board of Juvenile Justice, consisting of seven membersappointed by the Governor. In making appointments the Governor shall endeavorto select appointees of such qualifications and experience that themembership of the Board shall include persons suitably qualified to considerand act upon the various problems which may come before the Board. Theappointments shall be subject to confirmation by the General Assembly if insession and, if not, then at its next succeeding session.
