60.2-616. Benefits based on services in connection with sports.

Benefits based on services, substantially all of which consist ofparticipating in sports or athletic events or training or preparing to soparticipate, shall not be paid to any individual for any week of unemploymentwhich commences during the period between two successive sport seasons, orsimilar periods, if such individual performed such services in the first ofsuch seasons, or similar periods, and there is a reasonable assurance thatsuch individual will perform such services in the later of such seasons, orsimilar periods.
