55-11. Grant, etc., without words of limitation.

When any real estate is conveyed, devised or granted to any person withoutany words of limitation such devise, conveyance or grant shall be construedto pass the fee simple or other whole estate or interest which the testatoror grantor has power to dispose of in such real estate, unless a contraryintention shall appear by the will, conveyance or grant.
