54.1-3907. Reasonable care of attorney in selection of index.

Any attorney who in the examination of records in the office of the clerk ofany court in this Commonwealth relies upon the correctness of any index foundin such office, whether it is the original index prepared by the clerk or bypersons other than the clerk, shall be deemed to have used reasonable care inthe selection of the index.
