51.5-4. Creation of Council; purpose; membership.

The State Rehabilitation Council is established as a designated state councilin the executive branch of government for the purpose of providing advice toand performing other functions for the Department of Rehabilitative Servicesregarding its programs, including vocational services provided pursuant toTitle I and Title VI of the federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 U.S.C. 701 et seq. and 29 U.S.C. 795 et seq., respectively). Membership, terms,and meeting requirements shall be in accordance with federal provisions asprovided in 29 U.S.C. 725.
