46.2-2011.3. Issuance, expiration, and renewal of license, permit, andcertificate.

All licenses, permits, and certificates issued under this chapter shall beissued for a period of twelve consecutive months except, at the discretion ofthe Department, the periods may be adjusted as necessary. Such licenses,permits, and certificates shall expire if not renewed annually. Suchexpiration shall be effective thirty days after the Department has providedthe licensee, permittee, or certificate holder notice of non-renewal. If thelicense, permit, or certificate is renewed within thirty days after notice ofnon-renewal, then the license, permit, or certificate shall not expire.
