46.2-2001.2. Identification marker required.
Each motor carrier shall be issued an identification marker, unless theoperation is interstate in nature and the carrier has been issued a singlestate registration receipt by the Department or other qualified jurisdiction.The identification marker issued by the Department shall be displayed on eachvehicle as prescribed by the Department and shall be valid for the period oftime prescribed by the Department.
