46.2-115. Inapplicability of title on Tangier Island; adoption of localordinances; penalties.

Except for this section, no provisions of this title shall apply in the Townof Tangier.

The council of the Town of Tangier may adopt such ordinances paralleling anyprovision of this title and adapt their provisions to suit the Town's uniquesituation. No penalty for any violation of any such ordinance, however, shallexceed the penalty imposed for a violation of the parallel provision of thistitle.
