2006 Code of Virginia § 36-114 - Board to hear appeals

36-114. Board to hear appeals.

The Review Board shall have the power and duty to hear all appeals fromdecisions arising under application of the Building Code, the amusementdevice regulations, the Fire Prevention Code adopted under the Statewide FirePrevention Code Act ( 27-94 et seq.), the Industrialized Building Safety Law( 36-70 et seq.), the Virginia Manufactured Housing Construction and SafetyStandards Law ( 36-85.2 et seq.), and the Virginia Certification Standardsadopted by the Board of Housing and Community Development, and to render itsdecision on any such appeal, which decision shall be final if no appeal ismade therefrom. Proceedings of the Review Board shall be governed by theprovisions of the Administrative Process Act ( 2.2-4000 et seq.), exceptthat an informal conference pursuant to 2.2-4019 shall not be required.
