32.1-134.2. Clinical privileges for certain practitioners.

The grant or denial of clinical privileges to licensed podiatrists andcertified nurse midwives licensed as nurse practitioners pursuant to 54.1-2957 by any hospital licensed in this Commonwealth, and thedetermination by the hospital of the scope of such privileges, shall be basedupon such practitioner's professional license, experience, competence,ability, and judgment, and the reasonable objectives and regulations of thehospital in which such privileges are sought.
