22.1-282. Appointment and compensation of persons taking census.

The census shall be taken by agents appointed by each school board on therecommendation of the division superintendent. Each such agent shall receiveas compensation for his services, to be paid out of the school board's funds,an amount to be fixed by the school board appointing him. In the discretionof the school board, a reasonable travel allowance may be allowed such agents.
