22.1-279.4. Information regarding prosecution for certain crimes.

School boards shall provide information developed by the office of theAttorney General to students regarding laws governing the prosecution ofjuveniles as adults for the commission of certain crimes. Methods ofproviding such information may include, but shall not be limited to, publicannouncements in the schools, written notification to parents, publication inthe student conduct manual, and inclusion in those materials distributed toparents pursuant to 22.1-279.3.
